Word Journey (“the App”) is developed and published by Aaron Joseph, under the aaronsedna name.

Information stored on your device
The App stores gameplay information locally, including settings, puzzle progress, selected and solved words, hints, daily streaks, achievements, theme unlocks, earned coins, and cached purchase-entitlement state. Android backup or device transfer may copy eligible app data when those platform features are enabled.
You can remove locally stored information by clearing the App’s storage or uninstalling it. Core gameplay does not require an aaronsedna account or upload your scores to an aaronsedna server.
Advertising and consent
The free version uses the Google Mobile Ads SDK (AdMob). Occasional interstitial advertisements may appear between completed Journey puzzles. Optional rewarded advertisements can grant in-game coins when you choose to watch them. Ads are not placed over active puzzle play. Remove Ads disables automatic interstitial advertisements; voluntary rewarded advertisements remain available. An active Premium subscription disables both formats.
Google advertising services may process information such as IP address and approximate location inferred from it, advertising or app-set identifiers, app and ad interactions, device and operating-system information, diagnostics, performance information, and fraud-prevention signals.
Where required, the App uses Google’s User Messaging Platform to request advertising consent and provide privacy choices. Available choices can be reviewed through Settings → Privacy options. Google processes information under its own privacy policy.
Purchases and subscriptions
The App may offer a one-time Remove Ads purchase and optional monthly or yearly Premium subscriptions through Google Play Billing. Google Play processes payment; the developer does not receive or store your full payment-card details.
The App and Google Play may exchange purchase-related information such as product identifier, purchase token, purchase and acknowledgement state, app version, and entitlement status. This information is used to complete, acknowledge, restore, and manage purchases. Purchase tokens are not included in the App’s analytics events.
Analytics and diagnostics
The current App release does not enable Firebase Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics, or Firebase Remote Config. Local debug diagnostics are not transmitted. If a network analytics or crash-reporting service is introduced later, this policy and the Google Play Data safety declaration will be updated before that version is released.
Information the App does not request
The App does not require access to contacts, precise device location, microphone, camera, photos, videos, call history, SMS messages, or the installed-app list. It does not require your name, email address, or phone number for gameplay.
Data sharing and sale
The developer does not sell personal information. Information may be processed by Google Mobile Ads, the User Messaging Platform, and Google Play Billing only as needed to provide advertising, consent, fraud prevention, and purchases. Information may also be disclosed when reasonably necessary to comply with law, enforce rights, prevent fraud, or protect users and the public.
Security and retention
The App relies on Android’s application sandbox and platform security. Communications with supported Google services use encrypted network transport. No storage or transmission method is completely secure, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed.
Local game data remains until you clear the App’s storage or uninstall it. Advertising, consent, billing, and support information handled by Google or an email provider is retained according to that provider’s policies and applicable law.
Children’s privacy
The App is intended for a general audience and is not specifically directed to children under 13. The developer does not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through a support communication, contact the developer so it can be reviewed and deleted where appropriate.
Your choices
- Review advertising consent through Settings → Privacy options, where available.
- Reset or restrict your Android advertising identifier through device settings.
- Purchase Remove Ads or Premium, or restore an eligible purchase.
- Clear locally stored data through Android settings or by uninstalling the App.
- Contact the developer regarding a privacy or deletion request.
Privacy requests and international processing
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing of your information, and to withdraw advertising consent. Send requests to support@aaronsedna.com. Information sent in a support email is used to respond to that request. The developer cannot identify or retrieve game progress held only on your device, or directly delete records controlled by Google; requests about those records can also be made through Google’s privacy controls. Google may process information outside your country under the safeguards described in its privacy policy.
Changes to this policy
This policy may change when App features, service providers, legal requirements, or data-handling practices change. The revised policy will be published here with an updated effective date.
